Thanks to all of our supportive boss ladies out there our company continues to grow everyday. With that, so does our team! We recently took on board our newest addition- Jillian, our Brand Manager! We’ll let you in on all of Jill’s favorite things and her must have office essentials.
We want you to be a part of our squad so what better way than to get to know Jillian yourself!
Where are you from?
I am from a small town in Connecticut called Guilford! It’s really different from Rhode Island…my neighbors have cows!
What are your hobbies/passions?
I’m a huge foodie! I love to eat and am always on the hunt for good restaurants. I like to bring my boyfriend along so I don’t have to pay which makes it even better 😉
What made you want to pursue a career in fashion?
I grew up watching the Hills and I thought that Lauren Conrad had the most glamorous life when she was working at Teen Vogue. I was drawn to the industry and started religiously reading Vogue and following fashion blogs. This industry is something that truly thrills and inspires me. Clearly I’m trying to be the next Lauren Conrad so watch out for my reality show debut!
What do you love most about Fifth and Ninth?
The office environment is really positive at Fifth and Ninth. Its nice being able to surround myself with hardworking girls who are passionate about what they do.
What is your favorite case from Fifth and Ninth?
I would have to say that “Damaged” is my favorite F&N case. I can’t afford a pair of Loub’s so it’s nice being able to accessorize with a pair on my phone 😉

What are your favorite snacks to sneak in throughout the day?
I’m always down for a good Brickley’s run. I’m that girl that will make everyone stop on our way back from photoshoots to get my fill. The diet is always starting tomorrow!
What could you not survive a day in the office without?
Like every girl I live for my nails. I can’t live without my Symtek stylus because it keeps my nails from chipping. Also, I work on my iPad all day so my hand would get really cramped if I were without it! If you don’t already have this, add it to your list of office essentials!
