Getting To Know Brielle Biermann

brielle biermann

We are so excited you guys love these cases as much as we do! We’ve worked very hard on this special collaboration with reality star and socialite Brielle Biermann! We’re so excited for you to get these must-have accessories in your hands! Since they have launched on August 3rd, we have had an extremely high demand for these cases. So, we wanted you to have the chance to get to know Brielle like we do. We asked her a few questions that would give you some insight on her daily life, fashion inspo, and goals and aspirations. Keep an eye on your email for updates on this collab!

Q: If you were starting in the industry now, what would you do differently?

A: I would challenge myself at an earlier age to fully grasp the opportunities presented to me and take myself more seriously. The world we live in today is much different from the world our parents grew up in, and social media opens the doors for anyone to become wildly successful at any age.

Q: Which people have had the most influence on your career and how?

A: There is one person who has had ALL the influence on my career, and that is my mom (Kim Zolciak Biermann). While being a reality TV star brings many positive opportunities, it also drags along some negativity, jealousy, and scrutiny. The best feature about my mom is that she isn’t phased by all the BS. She has taught me to view everything as an opportunity for me to grow. Obviously, without her, I would not be as blessed as I am today.

Q: What is a typical day in your week like?

A: When we are filming Don’t Be Tardy, my day typically consists of an early morning workout, followed by a shower and glam. Then, filming can last anywhere from 5 to 6 hours each day. If you catch me on a day when we’re not filming, I’m typically glued to my phone answering emails, finding creative inspiration for a HUGE project coming within the next year, or looking into investment properties for my first “house flip”!

Q: If you could have any other celebrity’s wardrobe, who would it be?

A: Gigi Hadid, for sure. I always try to match my hair, makeup, and nails to looks I’ve seen her in, but it’s definitely not always easy. The fact that she can consistently slay these outfits is #goals and she needs to give me the inside scoop on how she does it!

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: There are two sides to Brielle. One is “Glam AF” and the other is “F*** it.” I love to be in full glam, hair styled perfectly, rocking a custom Balmain dress with 6-inch heels (*cue Beyonce song*) ready to arrive at a photoshoot or nightclub. However, the second I get a headache about what I’m wearing, my style quickly changes to a cute t-shirt, a bomb pair of jeans, and a boot with a heel. Super simple, super easy.

Q: At this current moment, what is your favorite article of clothing or accessory in your closet?

A: My Gucci sneakers! They are so extra, yet so easy to slip on and run out the door in. My favorite part about them is that they have a bedazzled platform, so they add the perfect pop to a simple outfit.

Q: What’s your best kept beauty secret?

A: When I turn 60, I want people to think I’m 40. I’m obsessed with keeping my skin looking young for years to come, and I’m always researching and trying  out new technology to use on my skin. The solution, however, is simple and actually lies in plain sight… SUNGLASSES! The area around the eyes can be such an easy indicator of age, and squinting leads to wrinkles. So, I always have a couple pairs of sunnies on me, and hundreds in my closet!

Q: What’s your favorite place that you’ve visited so far?

A: There’s so many places in the world that I want to travel to, but so far my favorite has been Turks & Caicos. It has the most phenomenal beaches with crystal clear water, and I have so many amazing family memories there. All of the local people are so nice and welcoming, so much so that we even made a friend there who we often visit! If you ever have the opportunity to go, you definitely should!

Q: What has been your favorite part about working with Fifth & Ninth?

A: My absolute favorite thing about working with Fifth & Ninth is the amount of freedom they’ve allowed me to have in the creative process. This is one of the first opportunities I have had in awhile that has challenged my creative side, and I appreciate their willingness to work with me when I would go back and forth on a design. I can’t wait for you all to get these cases on your iPhones! I promise you are all going to be just as obsessed as I am!

Q: What do you hope will come out of this collaboration experience?

A: Another collab, duh! I think it would be fun to do the whole process over again now that I am more familiar with it! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Fifth & Ninth, and I can’t wait for the launch of this collaboration so I can start seeing everyone with these cute cases! Please tag me on Instagram when you get yours (@briellebiermann). I’m dying to know which one everyone loves the most!

Our Founder’s Advice To Female Entrepreneurs

Our Founder's Advice to Female Entrepreneurs
creative director, advice, interview, business, businesswoman, entrepreneur, fashion industry

Meet our Creative Director, Bryce McGillivray…

As a native Rhode Islander, Creative Director Bryce McGillivray has brought New York City fashion home and given it her own personal spin!

Bryce graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2014 with a major in Textile Marketing and a minor in Journalism. Shortly after, she took on the big city to make her small-town dreams come true, but what she gained from this experience is more than she could have ever imagined!

Now, Bryce works as the Creative Director of Fifth & Ninth, where she collaborates with designers to bring ideas to life and leads the advertising and marketing efforts of the company.

With Bryce being such an inspiration, we decided to interview her and extract four main pieces of advice that would be helpful to young female entrepreneurs who are striving towards success.

Don’t be afraid of new experiences

First and foremost, we asked Bryce what she believes helped her to get to where she is today. She said that aside from the support of her family and a few important people, it was her experiences that shaped her journey, specifically the experience of living in New York City. Bryce says that it “was a time of growth for [her] as an adult and a professional in the workplace.” She says: “not only did I learn more about myself, but I am still so inspired from that time period in my life and incorporate it into this brand daily.” So, ladies, never shy away from change, even if it may scare you. Instead, run towards new experiences, because they may be the key to your success!

Always believe in yourself

Next, we asked Bryce to reveal the biggest lesson that she’s learned so far, based on her unique experiences. While she said there are a lot of important lessons that she has learned along her journey, she identifies the most critical one to be that you have to believe in yourself 100% before you can expect anyone else to believe in yourself. Bottomline: confidence is key. And, in the wise words of Bryce: “Fake it ’til you make it, sister!

Understand that nothing is impossible

We also asked Bryce what she considers to be her greatest accomplishment in her career so far. She responded by saying that she considers her biggest accomplishment to be working alongside some of her favorite celebrities. For those who don’t know, Fifth & Ninth has collaborated with various notable designers, bloggers, and public figures, including Alana Hadid, Vlada Haggerty, and many more! Bryce says that when she started working in the industry, she would “put people who [she] aspired to be on such a pedestal that felt impossible to reach.” She added, however, that “with every professional milestone, the pedestal became easier and easier to reach.” So, always remember that no dream is too big if you’re willing to work for it!

Know yourself

Finally, we asked Bryce the golden question: What advice would you give to young women who want to succeed in this industry? Her response was simple: “Know yourself.” She says that this is the ground you stand on. Elaborating on that statement, Bryce added that “it’s so important to know your strengths, but it’s even more important to know your weaknesses.” In fact, she recommends that you take a few minutes out of each day to self-reflect. This can make all the difference in the world! Always remember that you have to be your own biggest fan, supporter, and advocate.
